A .urbot file is your whole bot in one file. You need Python 3.8 or newer. Nothing else to install.

python plumbing.urbot info            what it is, its edition and grade
python plumbing.urbot chat            talk to it through a local model (Ollama)
python plumbing.urbot serve           connect it to Claude or any MCP-capable agent
python plumbing.urbot verify          check it is exactly what URBot published

To use it in Claude Desktop, add this to its MCP settings:

Your memory stays yours. What your bot learns about you is kept in a folder next to the file (plumbing.personal/). New editions replace the file and never touch that folder, and nothing in it is sent anywhere.
